Terms of Service
By using Offshore Job Alerts, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
Offshore Job Alerts is a job notification service that sends email alerts about offshore and maritime job opportunities. We aggregate publicly available job listings and send them to subscribers based on their selected country.
This is an alert service only. We do not place candidates in jobs, provide recruitment services, or guarantee employment.
2. Subscription & Pricing
Offshore Job Alerts is a paid subscription service. Current pricing:
- Monthly plan: $7.90/month
- Annual plan: $79/year (save approximately 17%)
- New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial — no charge until the trial ends
- All pricing is displayed in USD and confirmed before you complete checkout
Payments are processed by Paddle, our authorised reseller. Your subscription starts immediately upon checkout completion.
3. No Guarantees
We provide job alerts on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee:
- That any specific job will be available or suitable for you
- Employment or interview opportunities
- The accuracy of third-party job listings
- Uninterrupted service (we may experience downtime)
4. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide a valid email address
- Not use our service for spam or illegal purposes
- Verify job details independently before applying
5. Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us at info@offshorejobalerts.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then.
If you cancel during your free trial, you will not be charged. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods after a trial has ended.
You can unsubscribe from job alert emails independently at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, without cancelling your subscription.
6. EU Consumer Withdrawal Rights
If you are an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of subscription activation without giving any reason (EU Consumer Rights Directive, Art. 9).
To exercise this right, contact us at info@offshorejobalerts.com with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day period expires.
Exception for digital content: If you start using the service (e.g., receive job alerts) during the 14-day period, you expressly consent to early performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost upon commencement of delivery of digital content. You will not be charged for the trial period if you withdraw before your free trial ends.
If you withdraw after the trial has ended and paid service has commenced, we will reimburse the unused portion of your current billing period on a pro-rata basis, processed within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
Offshore Job Alerts is provided for informational purposes. We are not liable for:
- Job application outcomes
- Actions taken based on job alerts
- Third-party website content or accuracy
- Lost opportunities due to service interruptions
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any).
